My Story

Me!
I am a dreamer, and I have always felt and thought of myself, that I have an old soul. I don't know if we can reincarnate, but I have always had that attraction for everything old, like I lived in those ancient times. I always want to create things from scratch and for knowing how our ancestors made everything handmade. I am a fan of everything natural and I have always believed that we have everything we need to survive in this world in nature. Unfortunately, these generations are forgetting about it and we are destroying it. Without paying attention to all the benefits that nature can provide us.
Hi my name is Lisa and I am the creator of Lisa's Creations Natural Products and BlueGurumi...
And this is me and my story.
I'm really new to the world of soap making. You could say that it started three years ago. Why was that? My first time was out of the impulse to create something that I knew our ancestors did all the time. I love the countryside and nature and making a bar of soap was something that caught my attention and I always linked it with that, as I was also obsessed with learning the art of crochet, but not just crocheting. Creating something different and beautiful from scratch with my hands, such as making crochet dolls. (amigurumi)
I called my first soap white soap, because it is incredible for removing stains from clothes and it is exactly the recipe that our ancestors used to make soap. Almost the same ingredients that women of the past (by pure chance) used in washing clothes in the river. Lye, Fat and water. In the past, nature itself was in charge of uniting the ingredients and instead they turned into soap. After roasting on the fire, the fat and ashes joined together in the rain. The next day in the river there were pieces of soap with a lot of bubbles around them. Nature is not incredible? Well, that's how women began to wash with soap in the river. And this is part of the history of soap making in its beginnings. And I love it.
My second time making soap, it wasn't really soap it was shampoo. And this was where my journey in this soap making world began. Why Shampoo? It wasn't just shampoo or regular shampoo. Actually my first recipe was hair loss shampoo. Four years before I made my first shampoo I had started to have hair loss problems and I was only 41. I had already lost a lot and it was noticeable, but I hadn't realized until my baby at that time asked me why I cut my hair in that area. I hadn't cut my hair. Just I had lost it in that area and at that moment the division of the hair revealed a fairly empty space compared to the other areas of my head. To complete my hair it is black so the difference was notable.
At that moment my search for products that would help me with my hair loss began. Hair is one of the most visible beauty assets of a woman, you will understand how I felt when I knew I was losing it. In addition, I studied cosmetology and my hair has always been essential for me. I'm not lying when I say that I've even cried and I'm not lying when I say that in three years I wasted three thousand dollars on hair loss products that never did anything to improve those spaces that were becoming more and more visible. Shampoo, Conditioners, pills, serums, sprais, and more... and nothing at the same time.
Hair loss in my family is a hereditary thing. It's not just me who has the problem. But with all the hair I've always had, how could I imagine that I would suffer from that too? At that moment I understood that no one is saved, when it's your turn, it's your turn. And life (the stress), the environment (contamination) and chemicals in every product are the core of the problem. My grandmothers died with a lot of hair, why did my mother and I suffer from it? The difference I saw and see is the evolution of our planet (environment) how it has changed. Anyway...
After wasting so much money on products that didn't work without a job for an accident and then for back pain, I spent months due to lack of money without treating my problem. Until one day, I started looking for oils and found the acclaimed Castor oil. Curiosity and need drove me to continue researching in the natural area because I knew it would be less expensive, plus I would know what I would be putting on my hair and the amount I would be using. I spent a week searching for information and found a list of natural herbs like Rosemary, that have characteristics and are known to help with hair growth. My first try was with oils that I bought and the truth is that it didn't go bad at all.
After three months of using this natural recipe I was totally awesome to see a difference in my hair. Six months later my forehead was covered with new hair. At that moment I was more than sure that nature is the perfect ingredient for many problems. And at this point in my life you can be sure that I am not going to take a step back. I love reading, researching and learning more and more day by day. And believe me, there is a lot to learn and experiment with.
My second batch of Soaps tried with five natural herbs making an infusion. The same ingredients, but a different method. My Mom is delighted with that shampoo and she was the one who pushed me into this world of soap making and natural products. It's been a year and a half since I started using my natural hair loss shampoo. But if you know anything about hair and shampoo you should also know that after a year using the same product you will not see any improvement and the product must be improved or modified. Well at this moment my recipe changed again and it is the one you will be seeing in my store. This time the herbs had a different and longer infusion process. So much so that before my first shampoo was white, the second time it was cream and now the color is darker and I call it Herbal hair loss Shampoo. Whit my twelve hair loss oils.
Still the same ingredients just different method. But I have and I already made my second year of Herbal hair loss shampoo. This time with protein and other new herbs. Giving it an extra change for the second year of treatment. And I already have the recipe for my third year shampoo treatment. I can't wait to try it! I love creating and I love when what I do has a result that satisfies me. Every product I made I tried to find the best for me. And that is the same recipe that I use in the product that the customer purchases. I have sensitive skin, dry skin, hair loss, wavy hair and dry hair. Plus I have acne problems for what practically my entire life I use milk soap, oatmeal soap, Rose soap, Aloe Vera soap and I stick myself in those products. Then now I am always creating something new to improve my products and help with my conditions. I always try my own products myself. I love working with herbs and natural additives.
I can't say that being a soap maker is easy. Because it isn't, not at all. And even less so when you want to create your own recipes and have your own brand. When you make soaps with already created recipes it is not so difficult and it is even fun, because the result always ends up being the same and in the end you have a perfect soap. When you want to create your own recipe it's another story. There are fun days, but there are also frustrating days and sad ones. (When the recipe doesn't turn out well or when it still turns out wrong for the second time. But that is part of the process of learning and creating a new recipe or formula.) In addition to the fact that being a soap maker is not just about making soaps, there are many more details that They take time and a lot of energy. Maybe that's why you find natural products more expensive than commercial ones.
We always try to do our best to create something of quality that does not affect the environment and is beneficial for our body. Without chemicals, all natural and even organic, With the Power of Nature
